In the event of a total loss, we will pay out the amount of insurance shown on the policy at the time of the loss (less any applicable deductible) without deduction for depriciation.

EMERGENCY TOWING

We will cover costs incurred by you should your vessel become disabled for any reason (other than a loss or damage covered by this policy as this is already included in your standard coverage).

We will pay the reasonable costs, up to $5,000 (No Deductible Applies) for:
1. Towing to the nearest repair facility
2. The cost of delivery of fuel or repair parts to the site of disablement, including the cost of fuel; or
3. The cost of emergency labour performed at the site of disablement

GUARANTEED REPLACEMENT COST

In the event of a Total Loss, we will replace your vessel with:
1. A new vessel of the same manufacturer, model and original equipment
OR
2. A new vessel and equipment of like and kind quality

We cover the difference in exchange rates and inflation.

LOSS OF USE

We will pay the reasonable costs incurred should your vessel be disabled as a result of a claim, up to $5,000. Reasonable costs include:
1. The cost of a rental boat during the time your vessel is being replaced or repaired;
2. The cost of a rental car or reasonable accommodation expenses if you are laid up;
3. Any additional living expenses incurred while your vessel is being replaced or repaired

NO DEPRECIATION ON PARTIAL LOSS

In the event of a partial loss, if no used replacement parts of like kind and quality are available, we will repair your vessel with new parts.
